Updated: Fireside Chats with Bob Bennett

I would like to invite you and one guest to one of my Fireside Chats. The first of these meetings will be held on Tuesday, January 5th.  I’ll be leading a discussion on how Republicans can take our nation back and why I’m running for the Senate to help make that happen.

I’d be honored if you would join me.  To attend this or any of the other Fireside Chats, please RSVP with the names of those who will be attending by sending an email to RSVP@bennettforsenate.com or call: 801-328-4889. Space is limited.

Seems to me that whether Health Care Reform passes or not it shouldn’t be forced upon the American people whether some want it or not because it’s AGAINST THE CONSTITUTION and should NOT become law.

  2. Tex Stevens says:

I agree that we need to defeat the democrat’s health care plan. That being said: What is the Republican Plan? It’s not out in the open where everyone knows about it. I follow the news and politics and I don’t know what it is. Our health care is good but it’s prohibitively expensive, even with insurance that pays a big chunk of the bill. I can’t imagine how I would pay for what the insurance didn’t cover if I have a serious medical problem. We need to “sell” a better plan as effectively as the democrats sell theirs. It just doesn’t work to keep saying “your plan is bad” without showing a better alternative. In my opinion we are going to get Obama’s plan because we aren’t offering anything better.

I agree. We fought for freedom back in the beginning to get to this country. I don’t want to be forced into anything and then penalized if I don’t join the group. It sounds a little like nazi type. I have never gotten into politics before but this gets my ire up. Please vote so that we have freedom to choose still.

Also it isn’t along the same lines but in the news (like the weather) it seems like central utah is a forgotten part of Utah. I would love it as would many others if sometime we were included in your fireside chats. We are a vital part of Utah too. Thanks Marci
